Your Right to Delete Your Data

Upon user request, all associated data and access tokens are permanently deleted from our systems. This page explains how to exercise this right.

1. How to Request Data Deletion

Step 1: Send an Email Request

To request deletion of your data, send an email to:

Subject Line: Data Deletion Request

Required Information:

  • Your account email address
  • Your Meta Business ID (if known)
  • Your Ad Account ID (if known)

Step 2: We Confirm Receipt

We will confirm receipt of your deletion request within 7 days via email. The confirmation will include a reference number for your request.

Step 3: Deletion Completed

We will complete the deletion of all your data within 30 days of your request and send you a final confirmation email.

2. What Data Will Be Deleted

2.1 Immediately Deleted

The following data is deleted immediately upon processing your request:

User Account Data

Name, email, company, account settings, preferences

OAuth Access Tokens

All tokens for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) are revoked and deleted

Stored Reports and Insights

Campaign performance data, analytics reports, diagnostic insights, dashboards

Meta Account Identifiers

Business IDs, Ad Account IDs, Page IDs, Catalog IDs, and other identifiers

Communication History

Support tickets, messages, feedback submissions

2.2 Deleted Within 30 Days

The following data is retained for up to 30 days for recovery purposes, then permanently deleted:

  • Backup copies of user data
  • Transaction logs and audit trails
  • Usage analytics and session data
  • Temporary cache files

2.3 Data NOT Deleted

The following data may be retained for legitimate business purposes:

  • Anonymized and aggregated analytics (cannot identify you)
  • Legal and compliance records (if required by law)
  • Fraud prevention records (if applicable)

Our Commitment:

We confirm receipt of your deletion request within 7 days and complete the deletion of all your data within 30 days. You will receive email confirmations at each step of the process.

4. OAuth Token Revocation

When you request data deletion, we immediately revoke all OAuth access tokens:

Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Tokens

Revoked immediately. Luxia can no longer access your Meta Ads Manager data. You can verify this in Meta Business Suite → Settings → Apps and Websites.

Important: Revoking Luxia's access does not delete historical data from Meta. Meta maintains its own copies according to their retention policies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your account and data at any time
  • Receive confirmation of deletion
  • Receive a copy of your data before deletion (data portability)
  • Know what data is being deleted
  • Contact us if you have questions about your deletion request

These rights are guaranteed under GDPR, CCPA, and other international privacy regulations.
